The Telecommunication Tower

Mannheim’s telecom tower is THE modern symbol of Mannheim. At a height of 212 metres, it’s the tallest building in the city. The initial planning began in the 1960s, but construction didn’t start until several years later. The tower was finished by 1975, just in time for the Federal Garden Show in Mannheim that year.
